Flyscreen mesh is available in stainless steel, PVC coated woven fibreglass and welded polyester.

Mesh size can be ordered in various degrees of fineness dependent on usage. From 8x8 up to 40x40 (standard 18x16).

In practical terms, a well installed insect screen is virtually invisible. The finished screen can be constructed out of maintenance free materials guaranteeing a long, trouble free life.

Mesh is a product in its own right. Its properties include strengthening, filtering, sun shading, feature-partitioning and as a barrier.

MESH
Our mesh is of a strong woven construction, mostly with a coating to lock the fibres securely.
MATERIALS
The main types of mesh that we stock are as follows:
Woven Fibreglass with PVC coating

SPECIFICATIONS, PROPERTIES, DENSITY, OPENESS, STRANDS PER INCH
The main specifications that we are most commonly asked for is the number of threads per inch and the percentage openess. For our standard mesh, the threads per inch are 18x16, with approximately a 66% openess factor.
STANDARD MESH
For all manufactured screens standard mesh is charcoal 18x16 PVC coated fibreglass, for kits, the mesh is grey 18x16.
SPECIALIST MESH
8x8 vent mesh, 20x20, 20x30 and a louvred style (Shadescreen) are available.
ROLL SIZE AVAILABLE
1.2 &1.8m width available by the linear metre. Selectively, 44m to 2.1m width in roll length of 2.5 to 183m.
